Supporting Housing Stability in South Routt

Advancing affordable and workforce housing through regional collaboration

The South Routt Housing Authority serves the communities of Oak Creek, Yampa, and surrounding areas of Routt County. The Authority was created to support thoughtful, community-based housing solutions that help strengthen long-term housing stability in South Routt.

Our work includes supporting the development and preservation of affordable and workforce housing, building partnerships, and helping local communities respond to current and future housing needs.

  Why housing matters here

Housing affects nearly every part of community life. When local workers, families, seniors, and long-time residents cannot find stable and affordable places to live, it becomes harder for communities to retain employees, support local businesses, maintain schools, and plan for the future.

The South Routt Housing Authority was formed to help address these challenges through regional collaboration, practical planning, and long-term community investment.
